Cold Ride

Dyl's been doin a lot of hard work behind the camera lately, so we traded spots and he smashed his bike and I pressed record. Not really like he took a break from working the camera though, he still used his expertise to get the angles. Despite the cold we still had a super fun session!

Adrian Marcoux/Sagerian/FullCircle

I've had the pleasure of riding behind Adrian's lens a few times, and his work is nothing less than captivating. He's able to capture so much feeling and movement in a photo that you need to sit for a moment to take in what you're looking at.

Adrian spent most of his summer teamed up and travelling with Taylor Sage, working on a feature film, Antonym, which we can all look forward to! Along the way Adrian's photos have carefully compiled into a masterpiece 'coffee table style' photo book. Due soon, it'll be one to get ahold of.

Check out Adrian's site for an amazing selection of photos! http://www.fcirclephoto.com/

Training with Brandon

Yesterday Brandon came over to do a bit of training on and off the bike. Take a look, Brandon has a new toy.

Anthill Round 2

Anthill_B_Shoot6

Anthill's super packed filming scheduel brought them back to the coast to shoot more of Brandon and Stevie's seggy. Once again the weather was against us but it held out long enough for the boys to wrap up one zone we had on the list.

Anthill_B_Shoot11

We witnessed one of Brandons most technical tailwhips he's ever done, which he handled like it was nothing. This shoot DEFINATELY caught some of B's most precise moves he's thrown down, leaving everyones jaw on the ground. Stevie was killing it on the hardtail despite the fact hes been out pinning his DH bike around the globe on World Cup tracks. That didn't slow him down from spinning around or goin upside down. Always a pleasure working with the Anthill crew and cant wait for their next visit!

The Still Angle

One great thing about shooting video on a DSLR is the fact that your always set up to shoot photos as well. Here is a shot of Kyle i nabbed after shooting some video. Keep your eyes peeled for more of these images.

Alpine Is Here

As promised the alpine slide is here. Its been a dream of ours to get out to explore this unreal zone that our sports legends uncovered and pioneered. Unfortunately this exploration mission happened before our 7D came in so we didnt capture any video. And sadly this dreamland is now under snow, but you can bet we have another mission planned for the future.

Coastal Crew Productions - The Webisodes

This year we are going to give you a behind the scenes look into the world of the Coastal Crew. Although you may only watch the final finished films from the comfort of your home, we want to bring you inside the lifestyle that we live. We all read about Mountain Biking in magazines and listen to the arguments between friends on who’s down tubes longer than who’s and which bike has the better head angle, but what about the lifestyle of Mountain Biking? The hanging out with your mates in the rain trying to stop procrastinating long enough to finish building the jump you started two weeks ago. The beers and parties of an evening. The places traveling takes you to. The straight up fun thats taken place on your bike. This is what people should see, this is what Mountain Biking is all about and this is what we bring to you in juicy nutrient filled filmic packages.

This teaser was filmed over the last 2 weeks since we finally purchased our own camera, the new Canon 7D. Now we can get shots crisper than a maple leaf on a frosty morning and boy have we been abusing it.
